AME will have more to celebrate on New Year's Day 2009 than just the
Rose Bowl Game: On that day
Fokion Egolfopoulos takes over as Editor-in-Chief
of Combustion and Flame, the preeminent journal dealing with
research in combustion phenomena and the journal of the Combustion
Institute. He assumes the new position upon the retirement of Jim
Driscoll as Editor. Katharina Kohse-Höinghaus of Bielfeld
University in Germany will continue as Editor.
Egolfopoulos has served six years as a Deputy Editor and as
an Associate Editor for the journal.
